Responsible playing with gimigames!

In general: play responsibly!

When playing gimigames logic games, there's usually no reason to to be regarded as a compulsive gambler. However slight the risk of becoming a compulsive gambler is though, it still exists. For this reason, it's important to know about the symptoms of compulsive gambling, in order to be able to react accordingly if you suspect you may have it. You should always be aware that the games of logic played by gimigames players, are played in order to test one's knowledge and skill against that of all of the other players.
Games of logic- all of the games at gimigames are games of logic- don't normally fall under the category of gambling and are for this reason considered entirely legal by almost every court of law in the world.
The low stakes that you play for are an additional challenge to make it more interesting.

Who is a problem player?

Problem players lose the feeling of fun that's normally associated with games of logic. So you're never allowed to forget: it's only a game. For problem players, games of logic are less entertainment, and more a way to obtain money, or even worse: game-playing is a means of winning back lost money. It's often observed that problem players think that they possess especially good skills. So if you don't play online games for fun, but exclusively "to win back" losses, you could easily fall into the vicious circle that leads to even greater losses.

How do I find out if I'm a problem player?

If you answer yes to any of the following questions, we suggest you deal with it at once, before it becomes a more difficult problem.

Do you neglect your friends and family over long periods of time in order to play?
Do you spend more time playing than you intended to and do you ignore other tasks or responsibilities that are actually more important?
Do you often fight with your partner because you invest too much time and money in game-playing? Do you feel that it would be almost impossible for you to reduce the amount of time you play, or to quit playing altogether?
Do you play with your family's money or with money that's actually for other things (rent/mortgage, education, medicine, food, clothing, etc.)?
Do you feel that you have to play in order to be with people that understand you?
Do you constantly think about your next game while with your family, while participating in social events, or while at work?
Do you see playing as a way of earning money?
Do play during work, even if it could cost you your job?

Measures that gimigames takes to protect against compulsive gambling

Monthly pay-in limit

The pay-in limit is 2.000 €. per player per month. The maximum amount that can be added at a time depends on the method of payment. In any case, it's not possible for a player to pay in more than this sum within 30 days. Any adjustment of this limit is only possible in exceptional cases and after clearance with customer service and in accordance with the guidelines for responsible playing.

Blocking your player account is really easy: Send a short message to our customer service using our contact form. To remove the block again just send us another message.

Important:
For your own protection, once your player account has been deactivated, it can't be reactivated for 7 days. We ask for your understanding in this matter.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter anytime by changing the corresponding settings under your profile settings.

Deleting a player account

It's always possible for you to delete your player account with us. Just send an email with the request to our customer service, using our contact form.
Protection of minors

Only persons 18 or older are allowed to take part in gimigames online games. For this reason all players that want to pay money to play have to give their birthdate, name and address before adding credit. The given data will be manually verified by us.

If after the check-up we have reason to believe that the player is underage, they will be blocked when attempting to add credit. Consequently, playing the live games as a real money player won't be possible.

If a minor still successfully evades the age check, they won't be able to withdraw their balance from their player account (including winnings). This is the reason that each player has to go through an ID check the first time they withdraw their winnings, in which they have to send a copy of their ID card to our customer service via email, fax or mail.

If you know any gimigames players that are underage, we ask you to take a moment to inform our customer service about it.
